How PRP Can Enhance Your Aesthetic Goals

When you look good, you feel good — and at Chicque Aesthetics, we make it our mission to offer the services and treatments women and men need to achieve their aesthetic goals at every age. Our PRP treatments use cutting-edge technology to rejuvenate skin and treat hair loss. Here’s how to tell if PRP might be right for you.

PRP: The basics

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. In the past decade, it’s gained a lot of attention as a safe, effective treatment for wrinkles, sagging skin, and hair loss. PRP comes from your own blood drawn from your arm.

The sample is processed in a device called a centrifuge, which separates the platelets and plasma from the rest of your blood. Platelets contain special proteins called growth factors that can help repair damaged cells and rejuvenate aging skin.

Once the PRP is prepared, it’s reapplied to your body — either superficially or through injections.  At Chicque Aesthetics, we offer several types of PRP treatments, including PRP facials, facelifts, and hair-loss treatments. Here’s what they involve.

PRP facial

If you follow entertainment news, you’ve probably heard of PRP facials by their other name: vampire facials. They’re called vampire facials because the treatment uses PRP — a blood product — to help stimulate skin rejuvenation and restoration.

At Chicque Aesthetics, our PRP facials combine the science of PRP with the technology of the Venus VivaTM skin resurfacing system to achieve optimal effects throughout the treatment zone.

The Venus Viva system uses radiofrequency energy combined with microneedling to create a series of very tiny openings on the skin’s surface. Next, PRP is applied to the skin, where the tiny openings allow the solution to penetrate deeper layers of tissue.

Together, Venus Viva and PRP stimulate a cascade of natural healing responses aimed at replacing damaged cells with new, healthy cells. At the same time, PRP facials ramp up natural collagen production for skin that looks and feels more resilient and more youthful.

PRP facelift

A PRP facelift also helps promote natural healing and regeneration reactions inside damaged skin. But instead of applying the PRP during a Venus Viva session, the PRP solution is injected into highly localized areas of your skin.

During a PRP facelift, the PRP solution combines with dermal fillers to help “plump up” lines, folds, and scars, and restore volume to sagging skin. Injections stimulate healing responses, including the production of healthy collagen fibers for smoother, firmer skin.

PRP for hair growth, too

The benefits of PRP aren’t “just” skin deep. At Chicque Aesthetics, we use PRP to help people treat hair loss, restoring hair growth and the confidence that goes along with it.

For hair loss, PRP works similarly by delivering growth factors directly to the follicle. Research shows these growth factors promote the production of specialized cells called dermal papilla cells that play a critical role in hair growth.

Injections also stimulate circulation and blood flow, helping ensure the hair follicles get the nutrients they need to support and maintain healthy hair growth patterns.

Trust PRP to help you look your best

PRP harnesses the healing powers of your own body to help restore damaged skin and hair follicles — without surgery, medication, or invasive procedures.
